Ulric Z. Maltby, 80, for 60 years a resident of Oswego and for 12 years past president of Maltby, Campbell Co., Inc. Jewelers, died at 8 o'clock last night at his residence, 144 West Fourth street, after an illness of two weeks. Until his illness he had appeared to be in the best of health and was about his duties at the company place of business in West Bridge street, taking an active part in its administration, and continued his life-long activities in organizations in which he had so long been interested. Until Tuesday night he was able to be up and about his home, and hope was entertained by physicians and members of his family that he would soon be able to leave the house. The end came suddenly but not unexpectedly.
